My name is Mr. Knips, and I will be your 3rd grade teacher this year at Freedom Elementary! Since we'll be spending a little bit of time together (7 hrs. a day x 175 days a school year = 1,225 hours to be exact), I think it's important that you know a little bit about your teacher.
I grew up in the small town of Adrian, MN, before moving to Sioux Falls to attend Augustana College. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Eduction and completed my student teaching in Windsor, CO, at Skyview Elementary. I returned to the midwest in 2008 and accepted a teaching position in Harrisburg. This will be my fifth year with the Harrisburg School District.
