Where's 3K?

Where in the World is 3K Today?

This is the first installment in a new series we're going to title: "Where in the World is 3K Today?" Each week students will vote (go to the Surveys/Quizzes tab) to see where our class should visit for our virtual field trip. On Fridays I'll post a new picture, along with a few interesting facts about our location.

3K traveled back to 1969 for the first moon landing. Luckily Neil Armstrong was there to show us around!

Did you know...
-- The journey to the moon took about 4 days.
-- Only 12 NASA astronauts have ever walked on the moon.
-- The Space Shuttle, Apollo 11, traveled 953,054 miles on its eight-day trip to the moon and back.
-- Upon stepping on the surface of the moon, Neil Armstrong said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
